What is this position about:

Develop the online media sales operation of the Chitika Ad Network from the ground up. Period.

Who are we:

Chitika is the No 2 player in blog monetization (after Big G). To cut to the chase: We put the dollars in blogs.
The Chitika Ad Network (http://chitika.com/) currently serves over 12,000+ publishers (mostly blogs) and serves over a billion ad impressions per month (most of them in prime locations -- NOT remnant inventory)
We are currently ranked No. 235 in the top sites online -- and growing fast (See: http://snapshot.compete.com/chitika.net)

What is required of you:

At least a 5 year history of media sales experience.
The ideal candidate would have spent several years in online ad sales for tech-centric online publishers (think CNET, IDG, ZDNet, etc)
Strong relationships with tech-centric advertisers (i.e. the advertisers who advertise on sites like CNET -- Dell, Vonage, Verizon, etc). Your Rolodex is overflowing with these established advertiser contacts.
Experience managing a Ad Sales Team (i.e. set goals, top line revenue growth, etc)
